Hi, I am a certified veterinary technician with Animal Service Center and I can assure you that this is untrue. From what I understand this may have been true a long time ago but since hiring a full time veterinarian last year we have changed a lot. I am sure your veterinarians would not lie to you but they may not be aware of our changes. I highly recommed you come for a tour of our facility so we may show you our progress.
I hate to hear that your adopted kitties were ill but we try very hard here at the shelter to keep respiratory diseases to minimum. It can be very challenging when housing so many cats and kittens in one facility. Our sick cat ward is far form the general population and is located all the way on the other side of the building with its own ventalation system.
