Description: Merci's "Happy Gotcha Day" is April 26, 2006. She was rescued by German Shepherd Rescue of Central Alabama from the Chilton County Humane Society. It is estimated that she was two years old at the time of her rescue. Bless her heart, she tested heartworm positive and discovered to be pregnant at the time of her rescue. She came to live with me in May, where she had her pups. All pups got adopted into wonderful homes, then Merci was spayed and heartworm treated. Merci basically adopted me.
