I spent the early morning helping the cleaning crew with the kennels before the zootoo folks arrived at the shelter. I am a new volunteer at the organization. From the day I had my volunteer training, I have been amazed by the level of dedication. I don't like to generalize, but...Over the years I have come to believe that the character of many mixed breed dogs far surpasses that of many pure bred dogs. I am encouraged to see that their stamina seems to be equally as impressive.
