Their appears to be significant confusion regarding the poll on CattleGrower.com - "Would You Eat Horsemeat".
As the Publisher of CattleGrower.com I would like to clarify.
1. This poll was created by a Member of CattleGrower.com - Not by CattleGrower.com
2. Popular posts are simply featured in our e-letter to other Ranchers and this post qualified.
3. There is and was no hidden agenda regarding the poll on behalf of CattleGrower.com, nor from what we can see by the Member who posted it.
4. CattleGrower.com does not represent the beef industry in any way whatsoever - It is simply a forum for like minded ranchers and lovestock produceers.
5. The poll is not "rigged". Only Members are allowed to vote and comment and you will receive an error message if not a Member when voting either way.
6. Equine enthusiasts comprise a large portion of Membership at CattleGrower.com, and are appreciated and respected as such.
Perhaps another look at the poll given these insights will help to alleviate the concerns expressed in this post:
