Crickett "spoke" to me when I went to the shelter at HSAC to visit, and she came home with me the next day (last Saturday) as a foster dog. Isn't she absolutely gorgeous? I decided to really push her adoption, and stopped at the fabric store for holiday scarf fabric, even though I think dogs who wear neck scarves often look silly. Crickett does NOT look silly at all! She is elegant and appealing with her hearts. read more

No one ever plans for a fire to wipe out your animal population. I am glad the shelter employees can move beyond the tragedy and look ahead to brighter days.
