We actually do need a makeover because our physical plant is so old, the plumbing so bad, the ceiling is so water damaged, the kitchen so rusted that we need all the help we can get. We have made improvements and they ALL go to the animals, so we forego the kitchen and the plumbing and the ceiling in hopes of making the animals as comfy as they can be while they are with us. If you saw our shelter, you would understand. We are one of the oldest shelters on Long Island (I think around 1937 or so), so we really could use the help. We love our animals.
