Description: Champ is our foster dog, available for adoption through Animal House! We rescued Champ (another craigslist freebie) and are now fostering him until he can find his forever home. He is a very high energy guy, and he absolutely loves going rollerblading with me. He needs continued socialization, but he would be a great activity partner for an experienced dog owner. Animal House's contact info can be found at www.animalhousehelp.org.

Played lots of fetch this weekend. Red and Blue love fetch, and they always bring the ball back. Champ loves to chase the ball, but either doesn't get it or gets it and runs off to chew on it. Bear used to run off with the ball and chew on it, but with lots of encouragement he's actually bringing the ball back to me now. Good boys! read more

Our big dogs like to eat bird seed. I used to keep the bird seed near where the dogs sleep. About 100 feet down the road, he flopped on his back and scratched at the harness until he made his mouth bleed. The second time I tried it was when I took him rollerblading, and it went a… read more

The big dogs get fed twice daily. Red and Bear are great, very quiet and patient. Blue grabs the water dish on the porch and flings it around the yard, attacking it and howling. Champ does a whine and bark routine that is quite obnoxious. I guess it's just their personalities, because I do everything pretty much the same. Everybody waits for t… read more

This is our first winter with the big dogs, and they're loving it. Blue seems to love getting covered in snow, Bear runs around the yard like a mad man. Red runs around but not as much as when it was warmer. Champ is a big baby and doesn't stay out too long, although he does get frisky and plays with Blue. I miss the bike rides and rollerbladin… read more
