If you were discouraged by the timing and depth of coverage on the Zootoo-Stray Rescue situation, you should try being here in mid-Missouri. Unfortunately, being so close to the physical location of the story and having many supporters from the St. Louis area, we felt the impact of the news in a bad way. But, as hard to digest as it may have been, we did the only thing we could: we picked up our feet and we kept on walking. We at the CMHS knew that this journey was not going to be without struggles and obstacles; we also knew that no matter what rose to meet us, we had to conquer it for our wonderful animals that deserve so much more. With that said, Good Luck to all of the finalists and remember, there are no losers in this arena...We are all truly in this together. Read less
