Yes, this stick has it's place but I certainly wouldn't carry it with me everwhere. I also used this stick to teach a 2 yr old to lounge and then had to load him in a trailer. It took me about 15 min and then he walked right in calm as can be.

Also I never whacked my colt with the stick, I just directed where his feet were going. Unless the horse is being totally defient there is no need to whack.

I have used this as an only feed for an old horse with no teeth. It worked great. SHe loved it and keep her weight on. It was expensive but worth it.

I feed this to all my weanlings and yearlings. It gives them that extra complete food that helps them grow big and glossy coated.
