I'm so sorry for your loss. Not minimizing your loss, this even happens in our own family doctors offices. When my Beethoven was vomitting bile, loosing his bowels, and couldn't control his urine they weren't sure what caused diminished kidney compacity, etc. it was suspected to be cancer. Because of his age of 14 1/2 I didn't want to put him through chemo as my husband did, so I took him home thinking he was going to die soon. I was given something for his bowels and to make him comfortable. Lo and behold, a couple months later we found part of a chocolate bunny in front of our apartment building and that a piece, thinking back, was what he ate and it destroyed his pancreas. He developed pancreatitis and died July 5, 2007. Hopefully he's with your Blitzy in Heaven. If Blutzy liked to walk I'll bet you he's walking with Beethoven and my beloved husband who died March 23, 2007. God Bless you, I know how you must feel. Read Less
