PETLAND (exists in 30 of our 50 states) supplies puppymill dogs......just in case you didn't know! And their slogan is a JOKE......"Petland Pets make life better"! The question is, FOR WHO?! The puppymill pups make some serious $$$ for PETLAND....so is life better for those up in the Corporate office of PETLAND?! I would also like to think the puppies have a "better life" moreso than what the new owner may ever know and experience for themselves. At least the puppy wasn't left to live their whole life in a mill. BUT you as the owner may not experience the "BETTER" portion of the slogan, since the puppymills do not breed for QUALITY (health of the pups), but for QUANTITY. You may end up with what looks to be a healthy new pup, but in the long run end up with BIG vet bills or worse, the lose or your new friend!

I can only guess that PETLAND assumes that you can afford the vet BILLS, if you can afford the large sums of $$$ they charge for their "PUREBREDS".

I wish they would adopt the practice of adopting out dogs that are in need of homes and quit supporting the cruelty of puppymills (and dog auctions....they go hand in hand). Read Less
