Mr. Thompson and Pedigree I would like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you have done to increase awareness of forgotten animals in our shelters. You have done what it seems no one else has been able to do for animals. I so enjoyed meeting you when you visited our small shelter here in Marietta. Your crew was so amicable and easy to talk to. You truly have opened so many doors for so many people involved with animals. Marietta, OH has the heart and the supporters to make you proud of what you have done and to carry on your legacy for years to come. You will be hard pressed to find a finer person than Cheryl Byers our shelter manager. She is an incredible person to know. How she gets as much accomplished with as little as they have boggles ones mind. She has an amazing following of fine people that are hard workers all fighting for the best for the animals that call our shelter home. She knows each animal individually-they are not just a number on a cage. As packed as our shelter is they always seem to find another corner for another pet, be it in the office, the bathroom, or the hallways. Our staff is such a hard-working crew and it seems as though they never stop from sun-up till sun-down. Butch is an incredible person also, along with Angie, Levi & Sharon. If we are chosen for the make-over I see such wonderful things that can happen at our little shelter on the backroads. The spirit is there and you have a crew of people that are ready to start work to turn things around, donations are already being offered. HSOV so needs a make-over, we have limped along for so many years on practically nothing.
