I am amazed that only two cats were turned in while it was in effect. So many people who care nothing for animals could have used it as a means to get rid of neighbor's cats and make a buck. I mean, how hard is it to remove a collar before turning them in? Whoever thought up that $5 bounty was not thinking at all.

I am glad they repealed the offer and are looking to do TNR instead. A much more humane way of dealing with the overpopulation of strays and ferals. Read Less
