The Vet hospitals should be the educators - most animal sheltering organizations are providing the right information to adopters but their vet has to educate the cat owner as to the procedure.

I agree with Steve Z when he reminds us that we need to pay attention to the individual dog while educating the public about all breeds and their specific traits, energy level, and especially their strength.
