September Zootoo Visit

Hi everyone!

CMHS had a wonderful visit with Zootoo and guests yesterday. We've moved away from our original lobby/cat adoption center. It was an amazing vision of what we could have, but there are so many equally important projects. The board will vote tonight on rennovating both kennel areas. We would do New Runs first and then Old Runs. Everything would get a new epoxy coating and improved lighting and ventilation. Our friends at Shoreline Kennels would retrofit new fronts and provide some new kennels for cats and small animals. We may get some better laundry equipment too. No more calls for volunteers to do filthy laundry. It's a tough task I know, but the doggies loves their blankies! We'll definitely keep you posted...rennovating these areas mean the dogs will have to be moved into temporary foster homes. I am confident that our caring, highly-motivated Zootoo-ers will be there to help!
