Description: Joey was one of three kittens left on the doorstep in a box. They were about 4-weeks old at the time. Unfortunately, when Joey went in for his neuter surgery, his bloodwork came back with signs of problems. Further tests concluded that Joey had been born with severely deformed kidneys, and was in the end stages of kidney failure. Despite being just 11-months old, the vet offered little hope of his long-term survival. He was euthenized 6/21/06 so he wouldn't suffer. He died in my arms.
