Being a total Anglophile, I love that you thought the cat should have a British name, so I thought I'd supply some options that seem fitting for this particular cat.
-Nesta: The name of the Princess of Deheubarth, an old ethnically Welsh Kingdom in present day south Wales. Her beauty was legendary, causing her to be kidnapped from her husbands castle for several years (her husband escaped out the toilet, at her suggestion), sparking a mini war. This gave her the nickname of "Helen of Wales" after the more famous "Helen of Troy." She was also a mistress of Henry I of England and had several famous children.
-Skara Brae: Technically this is a place or a thing rather then a name, but I've always thought it would make a good name. Its an ancient settlement in Scotland that was inhabited around 3100-2500BC. Its now an UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most well preserved ancient structures in the world.
-Lilibet: The nickname given to the current Queen of England by her grandfather, George V. Your cat looks like it would be quite suited by the name, and its a fine tribute.
Also, I know you metioned an inclination towards some more foreign names, so I thought I'd throw in Darra. Its Farsi (Persian) and when I looked it up one site said it meant "Small great one" another said "compassion, wisdom." Read Less
Almost forgot, theres a fun Egyptian street slang word for cat, "biss-biss," that would be an interesting and unique (outside of Egypt at least) name for a cat.
