I am glad that your veterinarian recommended Science Diet J/D for your dog. As a Certified Veterinary Technician, I can tell you that Science Diet is a wonderful product, and that it is the only brand of food that I will feed my dogs (and cats). You're also correct in adding Omega-3 fish oil to your dogs diet. I actually just began adding Omega-3 capsules to all three of my dogs daily diets about 1 month ago. It helps with skin allergies and inflammation. With having 1 dog with severe skin allergies and 2 of my dogs with orthopedic surgeries in their history, every bit helps!
