I have now been in my new house for three weeks and it's starting to feel like home. Even Smudge, who lived her first year under my bed, came out at dinner time and sat with the other cats. She's now two years old and couldn't be cuter. When she arrived at the house she was a little shy around me but it didn't take her very long to realize that I'm okay. My two legged child, Venessa, is coming for a visit over the weekend. She's bring Charlie and Baby Layne with her and I can't wait to see them. I expect that the dogs will be happy with the baby because it means more food on the floor however I imagine that the Smudge will be out of sight until Sunday when they leave. read more
