Description: Tama was adopted by me in an admittedly ill-informed way. Turtles are legally not supposed to be sold under 4 inches, and I bought Tama from a breeder with his sibling as quarter-sized hatchlings. I don't regret having gotten Tama (and Chouji, who has since passed), but I wouldn't go about it in the same way (if) ever again, and likely opt to rescue an older turtle instead. Tama is a very speedy and sociable turtle. Always swims to the front of the glass to beg for food and rarely shy's away.
