What kind of snake is this?
Does anybody know what kind of snake this is? I think it's a garter snake but the person who took the picture disagrees. The picture was taken in Western New York.

Probably an eastern garter snake. Though, eastern garter snakes come in so many different color variations it can sometimes be hard to tell, but that's my best guess. read more
