Description: Smokey is a shelter rescue, dropped off outside on a freezing night and luckily discovered and let in before he froze. I found him the next day, my first volunteer day at the shelter. His looks, intelligence, calmness and soft slate grey fur convinced me to take him home to meet my dog Amy that day, and they have become fast friends. Smokey sleeps in my arms at night, and stalks me and Amy by day. He likes to wash me during his daily cleaning.
