Anyone who has been in the shelter on a regular basis understands how difficult that job is, and we all have the greatest admiration for anyone who does that work. Thank you for your work there.

I just found your suggestion on the donation fund. I started a discussion thread on the HSOV ZooToo forum at (http://www.zootoo.com/forum/humanesocietyoftheohiovalleypo3/canwedosomethingfortheshelters), I saw that you joined the group so perhaps you've seen the discussion thread?

Anyhow, a group of HSOV supporters from ZooToo and the local area are going to meet soon to discuss having a celebration event this Spring, at a minimum for the HSOV staff, volunteers, and ZooToo supporters, with the possibility of turning it into a public event for fund raising. I've suggested an initial meeting at the Harmar Tavern next Tuesday (4/8) at 7PM, but that's up in the air depending on whether or not we have good participation.

Myself and a couple others believe this could be a start to a long-term effort to benefit the shelter. I think a slow start would help settle things a bit. Anyhow, if you're interested, please send me your email address and I'll include you in the discussion.
