My family and I have adopted five animals from the Butte Humane Society. Like this story, we wanted to give shelter animals a chance to have a loving and safe home. Cocoa, a german shorthair/chocolate lab was our first dog we adopted at the shelter. She also came down with parvo. Thank goodness she survived because she became a huge part of our family. Recently, our cat of seventeen years passed away. He was also a Butte Humane Society rescue cat. We surely appreciate everything the caring staff at Butte Humane Society do so that these precious animals can eventually find the perfect home! Read Less
