Funny how quickly time passes since the last grooming but Jett was looking pretty shaggy and needed to be spruced up before tomorrow night's Dog Tails & Cocktail party to benefit St. Hubert's. From the little magazine my Mom sent me: 2 cups whole wheat flour 3 tbsp oatmeal 1 egg lightly beaten 1 tsp garlic powder 2/3 cup beef or chicken broth Place flour in a bowl. Wow. A lovely day today. The town parade was so Americana that it brought tears to my eyes. Scouts, elementary school bands, fire trucks! Many people had dogs with them in the shade and Jett made many new friends. And hot hogs were had at the Elks Lodge afterwards. What could be better? read more
