I am so pleased that our two resident cats have accepted Ada into their personal colony. While not ideal, the cats do spend some of their time in our basement with many windows to look outside, perches, multiple litter boxes, scratching stuff, toys, etc. Ada is so sweet and forgiving that fitting in never seemed to worry her like it did me. read more

This afternoon I left Ada comfortably sitting in her new bed in our bedroom with the door shut while I left to do some errands. When I returned I could not find her and feared the worst since our young neice and nephew had been over. An outside door near the bedroom was unlocked. Panic set in. Spent the free afternoon on Zootoo rather than socializing my little friends. Ada is perfectly happy staying in her own guest room while I am on the computer but that is not the long term plan. last night she and Monty did quite well with their exchanges with Jett so that's something we need to keep working on. read more
