Wouldn't use them
Guinea pigs need to chew b/c their teeth are always growing. However, mine always prefered carrots to these and wouldn't touch these.

Stainless steel is cleanest
Nothing can be kept cleaner than stainless steel. Buy a non-stick base for this, or buy stainless steel bowls in a non-stick base.
