Description: Ginger is an AKC register German Shephard. She was a gift from my boyfriends aunt. So far she seems to be a very smart dog. Walks well on a leash. Love to play ball and chase a frisby. She loves the water and sits on comand. And she loves to play on the trampoline!

Today was a sad day for me. I went to Nick Purkey's funeral. Some of you know him. He was the fire chief here in town for years. He was a great guy and he will be miss by everyone that knew him. The weather is nice today for once! I went out and took some pictures and videos of the dogs. They weren't very well behaved today. The neighbors have a new puppy in their yard and they all seem to want to bark and pester it rather than pay attention to any of us! read more

We took the dogs out on a hike at the river on Valentines day. Hiking with the dogs is a lot of fun. Ginger is easy to hike with. She pretty much pulls me up the hills and she don't try to drag me down hill either and I was glad of that. At 80 pounds now and 8 months old she could drag me down easily. Well we hot wired the fence to keep Ginger from jumping over it. The box we used was given to us and was an old box and it ran on a battery. The battery only lasted about 3 days. But i guess that was long enough. The dogs came up to the fence and touched that wire and that was all it took. Now you can't get them near the fence! Except Buddy he sti… read more
