Animal friends is great, my friend lives nearby and helps walk dogs, but PLEASE encourage people to help Washington Area Humane Society because they are sorely in NEED of a makeover. They do tremendous work with practically nothing.

When I called Poison Control because my dog ate an aloe vera plant, they were as kind, caring and thorough as if it were a human child . They followed up with another phone call to be sure my dog was ok. Very nice, knowledgeable people.
