I had to comment on this photo! I have a Beagle/Basset named Daisy. She gives me this exact same look all the time (but with shorter ears). It is her flirty look. She gazes up at me as if to say "I'm such a beautiful girl. You should give me cookies."
Daisy sounds as sweet as "Ignatius" is IGNATIUS !!! LOL
He just DEMANDS attention. He came here after Hurricane Katrina. Emaciated, Dehydrated, lookin' generally Baaaad Off !! He just showed up at our front gate ( we live waaaay out in a Crik Swamp here in SE Louisiana ).
We took the ol' boy in and fed him and started trying to find his folks ....
No luck on the search. What with all the pandemonium after that disaster, I can understand. SEAUX, he's staying with us now....
He "moved right in" and took over the place... ( except he and the wolf hybrid have issues from time to time ). We have to keep 'em separated....
Give "Daisy" a hug ferrus !!! ( I've never had a Basset before. LOVE 'EM !! )
Well, I love ol' Watson ( ahem, he likes us to use his WHOLE name .. that'd be "IGNATIUS Watson" ).... but occasionally, we just call him the "Baaastid" for short - he understands. )
