I'm taking it one day at a time with her. I really don't know what to expect with her. Even my husband has been keeping an eye on her when I go to work.
I know that guinea pigs that have spinal injuries and lose the function of their back legs can live a long life. Her problem is deformed bones so it's different. My vet just said to keep giving her the vitamin c and calcium so that's what I'm doing. She's drinking so that's the good sign. I've always noticed that when guinea pigs are declining or give up, the drinking stops. I'm just taking it day by day with her.
All I can do at this point is make sure she gets a high dose of vitamin c every day and a lot of calcium. She's not eating a lot and I've been trying to give her extra treats.

She's not crying anymore but she's really slowed down. She gets around pretty well, though, so that's good. Curly takes good care of her.
