Hello family of Stanley,

I am posting on the iguana page and facebook but found your picture and love beardies. He looks young but very, very beautiful....Can I ask how old he is?? Whats his size and does he hybernate? I have been blessed with the opportunity of sharing my home with two beardies in the passed. Cecle lived 12 years and was a free roaming lizard which all of my are...I also had a little male for about 3 years. He came to us full grown and had been locked in a home with a deceased man for quite a long time. When he spread his back out you could see through him....He had a great disposition, was VERY loving and sensetive. The first day we introduced him to Cecle he ran in circles and bobbed so hard his front feet came of the ground. It was very comical. He first approached her while my husband was holding her. She was about 10 at the time. He ran up to her, very excited and she bit him. He immediately jumped from the sofa, ran down the hall and pushed his nose in the corner. I think she broke his heart. After Cecle passed away Beannie turned all his love towards my husband. When out of town Beannie would sleep with his nose in his slippers. We lost him about 3 years after Cecle. They have both been creameted and sleep side by side in a special position in our home.
That was a pretty long story to tell you just to say how beautiful your picture was.. I would enjoy hearing from you and learning more about you lizards. If interested respond. KLH
