God how I miss this little guy. I got up one morning and immediately went to check on him, as he hadn't been doing well. When I saw him I knew he was dying. His breathing was labored and his little paws were icy cold. I remember praying to St. Francis of Assisi, although I knew it wouldn't help, but I had to try. I even think John said a prayer to St. Francis and he's not even Catholic. This was John's buddy and his death hit him very hard. As you said, Peanut was a little doll and his personality was just as sweet as his little face.
Thats sad, was he ill from birth? They may be tiny but they do have such big, sweet personalities. The tiny kitty we had gotten who was found in the road was this small too. So cute, only lived a matter of days after we took him to the vet. Just heartbreaking, my daughter got her first cat because of the one who died. That began our cat story. :)

Peanut was such a little doll. I'm sorry you no longer have him with you, but his spirit lives on. Keep those happy memories! :)
