Daisy loves to dress up on Halloween and be very scary. She practices her scary face in front of a mirror during the month of October. She truly does scare people when she makes her face.

Thanks, Peg. Ann is excited and proud of me for winning the contest. She keeps saying she couldn't have done it without Peg's help! I agree with her. I hope Ann takes me to class tonight so I can here the praise about my winning. Making that face wasn't easy!!! Hope to see you and my best friend, Andy, in class!

Thank you. Daisy is truly the nicest rescue ever. Have had many pets in my lifetime, and there is just one other that I can compare her to in regard to being easy to train, bright and loving, wanting to please, and eye contact like epoxy! The picture of your dog is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. Expression fabulous! Markings perfect!

Thanks for the vote. Underneath that frightful expression lies my good nature. Since coming to Ann's, I have had a life worth living. So glad I hung in there for three years. Now I can bask in kindness and secure feelings.
And Ann keeps telling me I am in my forever home. Whew! Glad for a new beginning. Life is great!

I am trying hard to be scary for Halloween, but once back to normal I will be a very sweet, beautiful, schnauzer mix who has a forever home. I sleep with Ann, and like to go off to sleep with my muzzle in the palm of her hand. Makes me feel loved and secure. Thanks for the vote!

Thanks, pal. All this voting talk and praise has me excited, but I really don't know what the word vote means.
I do know what praise means! I was so very long without it. This last year I learned many good things. I learned what love means, and with that comes all sorts of good things. I have learned that scolding doesn't mean punishment. It just mean to try harder. I am also learning that when my mom walks away from me, it doesn't mean she is leaving me forever. I learned what hugs mean and I am trying to learn how to return them. I use my tongue to show I care, which is the same as a human hug or a dog kiss! I look at my mom all the time, just in case she needs me.

Thank you. Daisy does bring miles of smiles every day. I think the picture of her suits the title of the contest. Don't you? Daisy is a product of a puppy mill. Authorities were getting ready to shut the mill down, so the owner put Daisy and her puppies in a box and threw them over a fence. Someone found them a couple days later, still in the box. Cincinnati Schnauzer Rescue took her in and placed her in foster care. Puppies were weaned when they put her picture on line. I adopted her after puppies were placed. Daisy is an incredibly bright dog, wants to please, and has bonded to me like epoxy! I have had her a little over a year. She is four, and the light of my life. I am in my 80s, but t his little canine now makes me feel like a young kid again! Life doesn't get much better than that!
