I love black cats too. They are so sleek and beautiful Unfortunately we have several at our shelter. They are harder to place because people have that superstitious crap or else they think they are boring and want a different color cat.
My mom has a black cat named Spooky. He is such a character. I just came from Minn-Kota Paaws. I've been stopping in each night because with the flood, people are busy and I live nearby. We have some flood kitties staying there and they need extra love and attention right now. I got a new toy called Da bird and it is a big hit with the kitties. I had 5 black cats jumping and twisting trying to catch it. Quite a sight! :-)

That's sad. we had a black cat, a girl, named buster. my 4 year old son named her. she was the sweetest nicest cat.
