I love brindle. I also love black dogs. There is so called "black dog syndrome" (which obviously I don't have) where people shy away from black dogs and dogs with dark coats. Supposedly it is either because they don't show up well in crates or because they appear vicious.
Maybe covering the back wall of a crate with a bright white plastic or white coating would help dark dogs show better.
He is also a character and very affectionate. If we didn't have two of our own we would keep him, but there were a lot of other LHS shelter dogs that I would have taken in before I had the pleasure of meeting him so there goes that idea.
