Anything For Shedding?

I have a pit and the breeder we got her from raises both pits and German Sheppard's. She recommended that once a week we mix in a raw egg and a cup of white rice to help with shedding and to keep her coat silky. You can also cook the egg if your uncomfortable giving them raw, but I would use 2 eggs because cooking it will cause it to loose some of its nutrients. Good Luck!
