Without more information, I can't be sure that the dogs kept this woman alive, but as long as she believes they did, I'm happy for her and glad that they all survived.

#1: old people shouldn't be driving.
#2: the dogs did not save her life. she didn't have any life-threatening injuries, not even a concussion. the dogs could have licked her face as long as they wanted to, eventually they would all have died from lack of water.
