I'll have to see it to believe it! It still won't make him appeal to me at all-he's the scum of the earth and any football team who takes him on-is going to incur the wrath of lots of animal lovers!

Pete should be ashamed to have him participate in anything they support.

I can't see this happening. For one thing, he hasn't lost everything. He still has a $45 million contract with the Falcons who are looking to trade him. He should have lost everything.

I don't know. I have mixed feelings on this. I doubt he'd agree to go on and say something like that anyway. I'd rather not see Michael vick again. Ever.

i would never let him get within a thousand miles of any animal, EVER. how many people has he influenced? How many dogs could of had loving homes but instead were part of the fighting dog world.

Ok I am not really sure why PETA of all organizations would want to have anything to do with Michael Vick, considering they actually believe all pitbulls are evil. Ingrid Newkirk** actually wrote an article saying that she believes they should all be eradicated, specifically that breed specific legislation was pertinent in getting this "situation" under control and that the grandfather clause (everything thats here today stays and anything after is killed) would solve this "situation". By making a breed illegal, that would mean that responsible people like me who have good nice pitbulls would no longer be able to have them. However, the people who she doesn't want to own pitbulls, who fight them and abuse and neglect them, can still do so. They don't care. It doesn't stop them from buying and selling drugs, guns, etc just because it's illegal. It makes it "cooler". And what a way to make abusing a dog cooler, Ingrid. High five.

I think Vick should apologize and tell the whole world he's a loser. If he wants to do that in a PETA commercial, fine.

Who cares if he sobs about how much he has lost by "getting caught". Kids need to know why dog fighting is cruel. Kids are told that the dogs enjoy it and love to fight. They figure if the dogs participate they must love it. If Vick is going to say anything publicaly he should explain that he now realizes dogs are not meant to do this. They suffer and need cruel extensive training in order to fight. That's what he should discuss. I could care less what he lost and so could kids.

I think this is nothing but a publicity stunt. I don't believe that he means a word of it. How can you do what he did to these animals and then all of a sudden say that it was wrong, and mean it. I don't think this statement is coming from his heart, I only think he's looking at his pocketbook!!

I'm not sure he means what he says...or he's just trying to gain favor. Lost everything? I doubt it....unless he spent everything and saved nothing.

You know, whenever someone does something bad (for instance dog-fighting) they always try to make it up by working with PETA or a shelter or something like that. I can't look at this man and actually believe that he cares about the animals. He's doing it to better his reputation, and it's sick.

If Vick would agree to an ad of this caliber for PETA, it would be a great message for impressionable kids who respected him and for people involved in this horrible activity. It surely wouldn't do anything to help him personally or his loser image.

I can't imagine he would agree to this, and I don't see why they would want to work with him in any way, shape or form. Obviously his word means nothing anyway so why would anyone pay any attention to a statement from him.

He should be in jail, pay for the animals he fought, work in shelters for a very long time, and never allowed to own any animals at all ever.
