That should be eight counts of murder. Killing dogs often a step on the way to killing people. Such an ability should be punished for what he did: murder times eight.

Just because he was a big time star did not give him the right to torture those poor animals. That is what dog fighting is it is toture. I hope he spends a long time in jail and when he gets out I hope he is never allowed to own animals and if he violates that right back to jail he should go.

I would be grateful to see some sort of mandatory ethics clause written in to the contracts of professional athletes. These people mean so much to so many other individuals, young and old, as role models. I would hope that the owner's and the media would feel at least some responsibility to promote ethical and moral behavior. Breaking the law or getting involved in iffy situations should mean they get permanently barred from professional sports, the same as using steroids or gambling on sports.

i really think that the judge should make mr. vick to volunteer at a local shelter that has pitt bulls so he can see how sweet they can be, he should volunteer at a shelter the rest of his life!!
