I have a backpack for my 2y/o Rott and use Mushers for his pads. I don't see either of my boys keeping the paw things on. There are other products similar to Mushers and less expensive. Last summer before we went walking on pavement I put it on my older Rotts pads and he was fine but if I didn't he wouldn't budge. It's a great idea for both hot pavement and ice.

The KatKabin looks interesting, but the website does not offer a view of the interior (which I'd like to see). I wondered how a 10# contraption could shelter a cat when it is very windy, but I saw that there is a way to secure it to the ground. I just wonder if a cat would actually use this, being inside a small "kabin" which may be placed in an open area.

I still wouldn't keep a cat outdoors. I suppose this KatKabin at least offers outdoor cats some protection, but they really should be kept inside during very cold winter days/nights.

I always remember all of Skitters things but as for Teddy, Shorty and Spot they have to stay behind so my sister feeds the cats and the fish when ever I am gone. But something I can't stress enough is don't forget your pet when you leave some people space out or are running late and pack everything and drive off forgeting their pets or sometimes even their kids as the home alone movies always state. It is a reminder not to forget the most important things the living breathing ones that you are responsible for.
