He looks like he has character. Certainly different for him only to have fur in the front though, right?

I think he looks awesome - if you've got it flaunt it Uggs! He looks like a Barbary lion, only he just has the mane and not the rest of the fur.

Makes me think a bit. what can make a cat have a main but no other fur. But none the less he is a cat and I am glad that he is in a good home. I wish his sister would have pulled through. best wishes to him and may he live a long and heathy life.

I think he's beautiful and i, like his owners, love him no matter what. What an unusual face -- isn't nature something? I wonder about his DNA -- look at the shape of the eyes -- and the fur -- only around parts of his body -- it's really amazing -- i think he's gorgeous, just the way God made him -- he deserves the best of everything and i'm very happy that his caretakers are thinking of ways to make him comfortable -- bringing him to the office so he could socialize -- once again, i wonder about his bloodline -- so unusual.

I don't think he's ugly but I wouldn't call him cute. Who are we to judge though. At least he's loved which is what every animal deserves.

I'm relatively speechless. I had assumed that the cat could not possibly be so different looking from other cats, but as you look closer at him, indeed, he is a mystery. I hope someone can find out what kind of cat he is.

I don't know how I feel about these ugly pet contests people have... this would not be my choice for a furry friend, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

This cat is amazing although not the prettiest cat I have ever seen. It is interesting what breed of cat he maybe, I have never seen a hairless cat with a mane like that. Very usual, very unique!

I think just because the way he looks he shouldn't be judged. They should love him for the way he is.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Why label him ugly? He is different and unusual looking, but without the mane he would look like a regular hairless cat. At least he isn't caged somewhere and offered for viewing like at a freak show. Can't think of a better place for him to be than with a veterinarian.

He's not nearly as ugly as those dogs featured in the Ugly Dog contest. The cat actually has a noble face, however scraggly his coat appears. The dogs, as wonderful as they are as pets, are just plain ugly all over. As for why publicize him? Well, people will always root for the 'underdog', even if it is a cat.

very interesting creature. Interesting story, but I'm not sure why the poor cat is getting so much publicity. I don't think there should such thing as a "world's uglist" pet!
