The New York Yankees celebrated their 27th victory in the MLB World Series. Devoted fans gathered in Manhattan's financial district on November 6th, to show just how proud they were!

Fans were dressed in team colors... even four-legged fans. That's right! New York animals came out to show they were "true blue" for the Yanks!

It was elbow-to-elbow and paw-to-paw as the crowd cheered Jeter, A-Rod, Matsui, and the rest of the team! And if fans couldn't leave the office, they watched from their windows and tossed confetti as the floats passed by... Check it out!

Hubby and me love the Yankees! I have watched them all of my life...I still remember the tragic death of catcher, Thurman Munson. He was really someone to be remembered. I remember as a teen, Bucky Dent, the once shortstop. All the girls drooled over him. And, who could forget Reggie Jackson? Congratulations, Yankees! Glad to see another world series under your belt!

I only saw one pet with a Yankees bandana...It was really cute. But, I am thinking many more fans could have donned their furkids in Yankees garb for the occasion!
