For those of us who choose where we live based on accessibility for pets, a report by the Purina Pet Institute found the top 5 U.S. cities pets call home.

The top locale is Denver, Colorado. The mile high city rated best in an evaluation that analyzed everything from vet to pet ratios to incidences of obesity. Coming in second through fifth place were Oakland, California, Portland Oregon, Anaheim California and San Fransisco, California.
