Pee Wee needs an outfit. Pigs are smarter than a lot of other animals. I do recall that being an argument on Johnny Carson's tonight show.

I think it's great that they have this little guy as a mascot, but even mini-pot bellied pigs get bigger. I hope they'll keep him around when he's no longer as "cute."

Fire fighters risk their lives to protect us and are held in high regard. Fire fighters that have a pig for a mascot will draw attention and this can benefit other animals by taking the opportunity to educate people on treating them humanely and with compassion.

Pee Wee is a great name for the little pig! I hope that he thrives at the firehouse. It is eady for him to get into trouble - I wonder how they keep him from being run over by those big trucks. Great to see him bringing the team together!

Pee Wee is adorable. Pigs are fascinating animals (fourth in the intelligence chain) they are fun and innovative sweet and yes clean. Firefighter Pee Wee makes a wonderful (if non traditional mascot).

Such a cute story and I will share this with my day care children during fire prevention week. My stepdaughter is on a fire department and she just loves pigs so I'll have to share the story with her also. I wonder if this will catch on at other departments.
