What they fail to mention on the "pet friendly hotels" is that most have a weight limit on dogs and only welcome small to medium sized dogs. They also should have listed the Outer Banks of NC since they have quite a few pet friendly rentals for the beach not limited to just hotel/motel but includes time shares and beach home rentals.

Skitters can only go on camping trips I remember when I went to disney land when I was 14 and Skitters had to stay at home with my step dad I worried about her every day even though I knew he would take good care of her I am a big worry wort and it is hard for me to even leave her behind and my two cats behind for a couple of hours. I don't know what I'll do when Skitters and Teddy get old and pass away and what I will do when Shorty finds his new home I cried for weeks on end after my first hamsters died and no one understood why I was so upset. Even one of my teachers at school told me their just hamsters and that was on the weekend it's nothing to be upset about unless a friend or family member passes away. As far as I'm concerened those hamsters were part of my family and that was definetly something to be upset about.

I'm going (or would that be "staying"?) on a Staycation with my six cats! I can't imagine taking six indoor kitties anywhere, other than their dreaded vet appointments...

They should talk about what is happening since it is spring now and how people should adopt instead of purchasing from a breeder I have seen so many puppies and so many male dogs that are not nuetured walking around town lately that it's not even funny. I have even seen more people bringing in pittbulls at petco and they are slapping them if they are not mean to other dogs another way to give the breed a bad name. The good thing is workers kick them out of the store when they see this behavior. Maybe they should talk about postive stories on pittbulls and other breeds that people give a bad name to such as mutts even though they are not just one breed and Labs at least around here people try to give labs a bad name.

I think your boys would enjoy going to a movie theater (indoor or outdoor). There is always a lot of popcorn around.

I love camping but Skitters always has to go with me if I could take the cats Teddy and Shorty and the fish Spot I would but they have to stay home and my sister or my grandma will come and feed them and take care of them for us. When Teddy was a kitten me and my sister spent the night at my grandma's house and Teddy could not stay home alone so Teddy spent the night there with us she has not been there since but that is mostly because we are not sure how she would do with another female cat when I had Storm she hissed at Storm alot but Teddy is spayed and Storm wasn't and also Storm was a kitten that always wanted to play Teddy never wanted to play with her yet When we adopted Biff who was a stray nuetered male cat she loved him he was also a tom cat he was orange with no breed really. Then when we adopted our stray neutered male Maine Coon named Lowrence Teddy liked him as well. Teddy is not very fond of Shorty though and she did not care at all for Storm, Honey, Ghost or Meow. But When we do go we have to find a place were Skitters does not have to deal with very many other dogs or children. Skitters has a prefrence on the dogs she likes they have to be smaller than her or if they are a male dog and they are bigger than her she likes them if they are to close to puppy age or they are a puppy she doesn't like them. Also Skitters doesn't have a problem with little girls we don't know why but Skitters hates little boys my brothers have always teased her but the little boys that she doesn't like are alot smaller than my brothers were when we got her. She has also snapped at my grandpa before for no reason unless our neighbors tease her when we let her outside.
