It is sad that all those innocent pets died because they were fed. They didn't know what was happening and neither did their owners, it makes you wonder if it will be over and safe. Lets all say a little prayer for the ones that passed and the owners left empty hearted.

My Sweetpea was almost a statistic, but we didn't know it at the time. Before the news broke, she became violently ill. I got her to the vet immediately, and his quick actions saved her. No one knew about the pet food debacle at the time, as the news didn't break for another week. The vet told me on a subsequent visit that it was most likely contaminated pet food.
I wonder how many more died because of it, but their owners didn't order a necropsy? And how many vets didn't report it because the pets passed earlier, before the official report and recall was made.

My pup underwent painful bladder surgery for stones and I so wonder if it was because of his food... He's now on prescription food which costs a lot but so far it's working. I'd gladly pay for the prescription food with out complaint but upon opening a can of the diet, there was a ball bearing--obviously from something in the process machine. I emailed the company and they didnt even respond.... A little worrisome, I think!!!

This is sad, companies should be more careful and be responsible for what they put out there.

As long as we encourage price over quality this is what we will get. As stockholders we want huge returns and companies want double digit returns and double digit growth. What is wrong with reasonable returns and reasonable growth,,,maybe even no growth as long as the company continues to make a reasonable profit.
We as stock holders have demanded from our companies unrealistic returns for money that we invest...yes we worked for the money we invested, but then we expect the money we invest to grow at unreasonable rates.
