Some people say brewer's yeast, but my family tried that out my dog and it didn't really do much to stop the itching. It slowed it down - but really both an internal and an external treatment seemed to be the way.

I had read that a few drops of apple cider vinegar in meals helps, tried it on Juno, and after a couple of weeks she does seem to be scratching less. May just be a fluke, too, but nothing else was working.

Shorty is allergic to fleas so he has to have an all natrul spray and a flea medicine.
