It amazing that scientists can find new animals every day. This pink iguana is neat, but I hope it doesn't become the new "pet" that everybody craves for.

A huge pink lizard discovered is very strange. If that was discovered there has to be a lot stranger animals out there.

The Galapagos islands home some of the most unique animals on the planet, this is another amazing example of how these animals have evolved to thrive on these islands. I would love to see these lizards.

Great find! The other land iguanas are awesome and then the marine iguanas, smaller but cute. What a great addition to the Galapagos story.

It is amazing to me that these have gone undetected all this time. It is no telling how many other things that are out there people don't know about. I think sometimes it is better for them that we don't know.

This is an interesting story, especially since I just finished an Evolutionary Biology class last semester and we learned about the Galapagos Islands and the very cool animal life found there.

If a species like that can go undiscovered for so long, it makes me wonder what other animals are still out there that we've missed? Once upon a time okapi was considered a myth and the coelycanth was thought extinct for millions of years. The dreamer in me wonders if one day we'll find the animals that inspired the myths of dragons or unicorns or the loch ness monster!

Like others who have said this, I too wonder how many other new species will be found. It has also made me wonder if the Galapagos are featured in the "Planet Earth" series. I would love to visit one day but not in a touristy way that ruins things.

Whoa! These are cool looking--and imagine how long they were "out there" flying under the rador without anyone noticing their little pink selves. Hope they solve the issue of no babies.
