I think this is amazing. For us to think that we have discovered all of the wonders of nature and the animal world is foolish. I hope we never stop discovering those who share our world with us.

Maybe Darwin didn't write about them because he thought Europeans would never believe there was an island populated with 5-foot-long pink lizards?

Fascinating, & yet another reason to watch our environmental footprint. No telling what undiscovered creatures we're missing (or potentially destroying) without even knowing it.

Tread lightly.

Will be interesting to see if the coloration is a form of albinism. We are very arrogant to think we have discovered all there is to discover. We should always be open-mindedly seeking the amazing things the world holds!

If we've missed a giant pink iguana in the heavily-studied Galapagos this long, makes you wonder how many other species of higher animals we don't know about yet.

Interesting discovery. With how hard it apparently was to find, hope they're being careful it doesn't go extinct right away from all the people who will probably want to go see it.

There are tons of species that have not yet been discovered; I know that but I always imagined that they were small or at the bottom of the ocean. I never dreamed that a pink, 5 foot long lizard would be overlooked!
